Dogs Needing Homes in Fredericksburg, Virginia

• The adoption fee for a dog is $85 and for a cat is $55, which covers a 1 year rabies vaccine and spay or neuter. All animals are altered before leaving the shelter if older than 16 weeks.

We operate on a first come, first served basis to qualified adopters which means WE DO NOT HOLD ANIMALS so you cannot reserve a dog over the phone or via e-mail.
• Adoption of dogs is open to residents of Spotsylvania, Stafford, Caroline, Hanover, Louisa, Orange and Culpeper County
• Dogs that have been spayed/neutered are available for adoption to anyone including out of state residents.
• State law requires that all dogs and cats be vaccinated for rabies.
