Notes: Wellington came to us terribly matted to the point of it being painful. He is only around 1 year, 11.6 pounds, great with other dogs and would do well to have a playful companion in his forever home. Wellington does like to yell at new people, though they quickly become friends, but we do feel a home free of children under 12 would be best. He's been a good boy having had no potty accidents in his foster home. Wellington would love to find a home that understands the energy of a young Shih Tzu, and one that is truly prepared for the grooming expense, as he has already been through a terrible time due to lack of grooming and would never want that again.
