The adoption fee for a cat is $55, which covers a 1 year rabies vaccine and spay or neuter. All animals are altered before leaving the shelter if older than 16 weeks.

Shelter accepts cash (exact amount) and checks from County residents - cash only from out of County residents.

To adopt you must be at least 18 years of age and provide a current ID.

Most of our cats are strays, and we can only guess by observing the behavior of the animal in the kennel and interaction by the shelter staff, whether they are good with other animals or children.
